Continuing Practicum

The success of Regenerative Development depends on practitioners who continually seek to evolve their ability as resources and process designers, engaging developmentally and co-creatively with their team members and stakeholders. This requires bringing one’s consciousness fully to each engagement, regenerating one’s self as well as the energy field in which we are working.

The Continuing Practicum provides regenerative practitioners with the support in developing the capacity to regenerate one’s own nature and quality of being and thinking, towards the aim of being able to engage fully with each opportunity to practice regeneratively.

The upcoming module of the Continuing Practicum begins on November 7 (which is November 8 in New Zealand / Australia). This six-month module will focus on Systematics, the foundational system behind the dynamic systems frameworks utilized in regenerative development. A more detailed description of the purpose and content of this module can be downloaded here.

How Does It Work?

The Continuing Practicum is offered as 6-month modules, each of which is organized around a particular aspect of regenerative thinking and practice. Monthly two-hour Zoom sessions will be resourced by Regenesis faculty members and will include:

  • Introduction of new frameworks/practices or extended or deeper application of previously introduced frameworks
  • Dialogue and exercises in which the framework/practice is explored in the context of real-life situations of participants
  • Written materials and suggested exercises for application in work and personal life between sessions work in study cohorts

We are currently enrolling two initial cohorts that will be capped at 15 members each to enable a rich dialogue with the space for all participants to weave into the conversation. Additional cohorts may be added but are not guaranteed. All sessions will be recorded and archived for participants, so you won’t miss anything if you can’t attend a session in person.

How is the Continuing Practicum different from the work I did in The Regenerative Practitioner series?

Where TRP is an intensive survey course designed to rapidly enable a shift in how a practitioner thinks about his or her work, the Continuing Practicum supports practitioners in the long-term, ongoing development and evolution of their capability through a structured opportunity to practice together regularly.

Since we launched TRP, practitioners have been asking for ongoing opportunities to practice the work with the support of a group of fellow learners, so that they can regenerate and sustain the energy field that enables continuing development. The Continuing Practicum is designed to meet that need, introducing frameworks and practices that participants have not yet worked with as well as revisiting and deepening the frameworks first introduced in TRP.

Is the practicum right for me?

In particular, we see the Continuing Practicum as being an ideal offering for practitioners who have any one—or more—of the following aims:

  • The desire to become “better” at practicing regenerative work – utilizing frameworks, engaging colleagues or clients, and knowing which regenerative framework, concept, or practice to bring into a project or situation and when.
  • The desire to have the long-term support of a community of co-learners committed to finding ways to increase the value they contribute to the systems they work within
  • The desire to organize a community of practice around a specific place (e.g. your community, city or region) or field of work (e.g. education, economic development, agriculture).

In the practicum, participants will engage with core developmental and regenerative frameworks and practices, growing the ability to see and apply them as a system to real-life situations and initiatives in service of enabling the evolution of living systems, and developing value adding processes to their full value-generating and value-realizing potential.  Specifically, participants will work on developing increasing capacity and facility with:

  • Framework thinking
  • Engaging developmentally with partners, teammates, and clients
  • Designing and supporting systems actualization
  • Enabling evolutionary work at the individual, team, organization and community/place level

Please note: This fall Regenesis will be launching The Regenerates, a new website dedicated to education offerings for regenerative practitioners. While the public site is not yet live, we’ve begun hosting all of our course materials on the “back end” of this new website. So, the above registration links will take you away from regenesisgroup.com to the new site.
